Canal System Opening to Meet Pearson Reservoir Replenishment Requirements

BMA has opened the canal system to replenish water lost to evaporation during the four-year
drought. This action addresses infrastructure and safety requirements while helping protect the
structural integrity of the Pearson earthen dam. This release is solely for replenishment and
infrastructure protection.

No water is being released for sale or delivery to landowners at this
time.

Canal gates are to remain open until further notice in compliance with the requirements as stated
above and no later than December 1, 2026.
