Tommy Fey
May 24, 1944 – January 5, 2017
Frederick “Tommy” Fey went to be with his Lord on January 5, 2017 at age 72. He died from complications of heart disease at his home. He was born in San Antonio, TX on May 24, 1944 to Anita and Ben Fey. He graduated from Central Catholic High School and served in the Texas Air National Guard. He started out as a vegetable farmer and transitioned to peanuts, milo, corn, wheat and oats. He raised cattle and ranched until he lost his eye. In his later years, he transitioned to custom hay baling. He was proud to serve for 15 years as a director on the board of the BMA Water District. He is preceded in death by his parents and his sister and brother-in-law Dorothy and Andy Beaver. Tommy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Marion DeCock Fey; 4 children, Pamela Frazier (Randall), William Fey (JoAnn), Donna Bachle (Jerome), and Sara Kauffmann (Frankie); 9 grandchildren, Jacob, Morgan and Madeleine Fey, Julee, Jon and Alee Bachle, Trey, Leyton and Kelsi Kauffmann; brothers, Melfred Fey (Mary Lee), Roy Fey (Patsy) and sister Katherine Fey.
Visitation will be Tuesday, January 10, 2017 from 5:30 until 8:00pm with a Rosary at 7pm at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in La Coste, TX. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, January 11th at 10:00am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church. Graveside service will follow at Mission Burial Park South at 1:45pm.
